A factory worker lost his finger when one of the machines which requires manual handling wouldn’t stop when the emergency button was pushed.
His finger went into the machine which resulted in a horrific loss of his finger.
According to records there was as recent inspection and the emergency buttons were tested and they were all reported as being fully functional.
The worker is no claiming compensation for the loss of his finger and the difficulty he now has with his daily tasks.
