A 40 year old worker had a lucky escape when he had back injury at work.
The work place back injury claim happened when the employee was cleaning out the gutters between two connected buildings when he fell six metres through the roof light in to offices below.
As a result, he suffered bruising to his right side and leg, and injuries to his right hand and back.
It was later reported that the company, which supplies snacks and drinks for vending machines across the UK, had failed to ensure he could work safely on the roof.
The company was fined £10,000 and ordered to pay £3,500.
