Subject: Fatal motorbike accident.

A woman was riding on a motorbike eight years ago and was side-swiped by a minibus. She suffered a crush injury to his foot; his leg was black and blue and was uncomfortable. She was told by her GP it would heal its self, but it never did.

She paid to see a private orthopaedic doctor that she had already seen for a previous accident. After x-rays and MRI scans that come back clear she was referred to a pain consultant. The pain consultant diagnosed her with Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) this diagnosis meant that she would feel continual pain for the rest of her life.
