A woman drank a bottle of wine before she started to drive her car and crashed into two pensioners: 78 and 77 in a fatal road traffic accident.
She was driving a Peugeot 307 and she struggled to take a bend which lead her into the path of oncoming traffic. The couple in the car were taken to hospital where they were treated for their injuries, though the male died early hours of the morning. The mum of three has been jailed for 12 months for death by dangerous driving.
