The controversy over whiplash injury doctor’s panel continues. A panel of doctors has been proposed to assess the whiplash injuries of claimants who have been involved in a road traffic accident.
The Panel of whiplash injury doctors is primarily designed to keep the reporting of injured claimant’s independent and to try to cut costs of the report.
However, a leading article by the Law Society has claimed that whiplash injury doctors may not wish to join the panel. If that is the case, it could delay or disrupt the set up of the Panel which has been led by the Insurance Industry.
A web site is due to be set up by the Medco Board by the end of November 2014.
