Volkswagen have looked into options and feel the best option they have, may be to buy back the effected vehicles, follwoing the emissions scandal.
The Environment Protection Agency and other U.S watchdogs have rejected proposals to make the vehicles compliant. To read more please click the link.
The VW buyback plan would take the effected vehicles off the US roads quicker, whilst also easing the angry customers and avoiding paying them damages and even potentially ease plans from the regulators.
