VW agree to fix more cars after emissions scandal
According to Reuters VW have won German regulatory approval to fix another 460,000 with the cheat device that gave false readings during emissions tests. The approval means cars throughout Europe can now be fixed after 8.5 million diesel cars were affected by VW emissions test-rigging scandal.
VW have already agreed a deal with US regulators to compensate car owners after it emerged 11 months ago that they fitted software designed to cheat emissions tests, there was 11 million cars globally effected.
