Future plans for Volkswagen:

The US authorities have asked Volkswagen to produce electric vehicles as a way of repairing some of the damage done by rigging the emissions tests, the German newspaper Welt am Sonntag reported, to read more please visit this site.

The US Environment Protection Agency are in talks with Volkswagen, with the aim of trying to fix nearly 600,000 diesel vehicles that emit up to 40 times legal pollution limits in the US.
Five months after the emissions scandal broke in the US, VW has yet to come up with a fix for almost effected vehicles, and it is facing a growing number of legal claims.
“Talks with the EPA are ongoing and we are not commenting on the contents and state of the negotiations,” a VW spokesman said.
