Shocking 17 hour flight delay due to technical faults on board the aircraft

Holiday makers returning to Bristol Airport from Bulgaria was hit with a 17 hours flight delay. 130 passengers left stranded in Bourgas Airport for over seven hours before they got told about the technical fault on board the Thomas Cook Airways Flight.

After 7 hours of waiting around the airport terminal the 130 passengers were put up into accommodation for the night and were told transport would pick them up in the morning.

Angry passengers explain their disgust and explain the airline agents ‘didn’t know what was going on and still didn’t know in the morning what was happening then all of a sudden there was a rush saying the aircraft is on the runway and waiting for us to board’
