A car driver passed away when his car left the road and went down an embankment and ploughed into the trees.
The driver was the only occupant of the car and no other vehicles were involved in the fatal accident.
The fatal accident occurred around 1:15pm.
The road was closed for more than five hours.
Emergency services attended the scene and needed to cut the male from the vehicle.
He suffered serious injuries due to the crash and later passed away.
Investigations are now being carried out.
