Former West Bromwich Albion manager and Liverpool assistant manager Steve Clarke was relieved of his job on Sunday following his side’s 4th strength defeat. The West Bromwich Albion boss suffered a 1.0 defeat to fellow strugglers Cardiff City. Steve Clarke has had a dismal 2013 only winning 20% of the games in 2013 however, in his first season Clarke had a club record total at the end of the 2012-2013 season winning 14 of the 28 games and securing 49 points.

The sacking of Steve Clarke will give the Liverpool board something to think of, Liverpool are lacking experience in the assistant managers role and Steve Clarke would be a great addition to any team, however, Steve Clarke may be looking for a lead role.
