A fatal motorbike accident in Meier’s Corners killed a motorcyclist. The fatal bike accident occurred after the rider ran a red light and collided with an oncoming vehicle.

The motorcyclist was a 39 year old male; he was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. He was trying to beat a red light on Bradley Avenue around 12:30 p.m. when the 2000 Toyota Camry which was heading east on Purdy struck him. The driver of the car stayed at the scene.

A witness stated that police where following the motorbike before the crash though police cannot confirm this.

The riders clothing was spread across the road. A helmet was at the scene though it is not confirmed that he was wearing it.
