A 94 year old woman died after being hit by a Toyota Corolla in a fatal motor accident claim.
The woman was walking across the road at traffic lights when she was hit by a 67 year old driver. She suffered serious head and arm injuries. She passed away three days after she was transported to another hospital.
The 67 year old was has admitted to death by careless driving. He was traumatised by the fatal motor accident and has gave up his licence and vowed never to drive again. The pensioner was banned for 12 months and fined £481 including costs and victim surcharge.
