A fatal road traffic accident left a 24 year old paraplegic passenger dead. A 47 year old’s car veered to the right and went into a ditch around 9:30pm. The 24 year old was a passenger in the car and was thrown into the windscreen, he was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene.
The driver was wearing a seat belt and only suffered minor injuries. An interview with the driver stated that he fell asleep at the wheel of the car and veered off the road. Alcohol and speed where not factors in the crash though investigations are still being made.
