A male motorcyclist was killed following a fatal road traffic accident on the A46 has been identified as a 53 year old man. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene on Easter Monday morning.
A group on nine motorcyclists where out riding and three of them where involved in the bike crash. The two other motorcyclists were taken to hospital by air ambulance as they were both seriously injured.
The accident occurred near the Thorpe on the Hill fly over on the A46 around 10:50am.
An appeal had been made for witnesses.
