Motorcyclist, aged 18 years old, had recently passed his test, when he collided with a reversing lorry.
The motorcyclist swerved to avoid the lorry but collided with the back left wheel.
The Defendant admitted liability as he had been proven to have carried out a manoeuvre which put the Claimant in a dangerous position, although, liability was admitted on a contributory basis, whereby it was felt by the Judge that the motorcyclist was also to blame given the fact that he had failed to check his whereabouts before being hit by the lorry.
