HSE fined company £250,000 after fatal accident at work.
A man was hired by a company to fix a leak as water was coming into the warehouse and offices he also cleaned the gutters. When he was on the roof he stepped on a clear roof panel which collapsed causing him to fall through the warehouse roof. An ambulance was called right away to help the man though unfortunately he died on the way to hospital. When under investigation it was clear there where no safety measures but in place.
