Half A Million Missing Out On Flight Delay Compensation
It has been revealed from June 2014 to May this year more than 50,000 passengers have failed to claim compensation for a delayed flight.
Data has been revealed that over 9,000 flights, carrying an estimate of 900,000 passengers were delayed for more than three hours.
A survey that has taken place has confirmed that as many as 558,000 people may have neglected to submit claims against the airlines in question.
Flight delays can cause disappointment and stress for affected holidaymakers waiting around an airport waiting for additional information to be revealed when they are going to depart from their destination. As with other financial claims, such as mis-sold investment claims, flight delays can cause all sorts of financial complications and emotional distress.
