American Airlines flight was sent back to the gate after a flight attendant was shown a list of hotspots after a passenger tried to connect to the Wi-Fi on board when one of the hotspots was believed to have been named ‘Al-Quida Free Terror Network’.
Passengers on board was evacuated off the aircraft, some passengers even had to stay in a hotel over night while waiting for the next available flight after being told by the aircrafts representatives that there was a ‘minor security issue’ that was dealt with.
After a 17 hour flight delay of the aircraft, passengers then boarded there rescheduled flight from Los Angeles to London Stansted. American Airlines apologise to all passengers that was delayed due to this matter.
