Passengers have revealed they had to wait 28 HOURS to board a flight from Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport to Latvia.
Around 170 travellers were left waiting more than a day to board the massively delayed Wizz Air flight to Latvia. Many took to social media to vent their frustration at the budget airline, as one worried flight delay passenger faced missing her brother’s wedding and another feared they would miss their five-year-old daughter’s birthday.
The plane was due to leave Liverpool but failed to take off. Passengers had to stay overnight in a nearby hotel.
Passengers were given vouchers for food, but many claimed they were ‘not enough’ to cover the cost of a proper meal.
