Flight Delay Compensation- Easyjet
Passengers travelling on a flight from Southend to Faro faced a seven hour delay due to a technical fault.
The flight was scheduled to depart from Southend Airport at 7:50am, but did not depart until 14:00 leaving passengers waiting in the airport terminal.
The well-known airline company Easyjet offered refreshments vouchers to all affected passengers.
An EasyJet spokesman advised passengers that due to a technical issue with the aircraft, they have had to rearrange a replacement aircraft.
Passengers had to wait for the replacement aircraft which was arriving from Berlin.
Due to this inconvenience caused to passengers, those affected are able to claim flight delay compensation.
