A family of five were traveling in a Nisan Primera when they collided with an articulated lorry.
Five ambulances and three fire engines raced to the scene when the crash happened at around 12.30pm. Three of the family members who were traveling in the car sadly died at the scene, the other two traveling were rushed to hospital where they were shortly pronounced dead.
However, the lorry driver suffered only minor injuries.
