A small plane has crash on a beach in Florida killing a father and seriously injuring his daughter.
A witness was walking along the beach when he saw the plane crash land.
The father was 36 years old and his daughter 19.
The father posted to his Facebook page that he was celebrating his 9th wedding anniversary. He passed away at the scene.
His daughter was taken to hospital where she is in critical condition.
The pilot and his passenger were uninjured in a fatal accident. The pilot was attempting to make a beach landing after signalling he was in distress. He knew he could not make it back to the airport. The plane lost power but had no details.
The fatal accident is under investigation.
