A fatal accident at work left one 30 year old male dead after he fell from scaffolding. Emergency services attended the scene but despite efforts he was pronounced dead at the scene. The 30 year old male had a young child.
The safety of the site has been questioned. Workers have been given the choice to leave the company after a stop work meeting. Emotions where running high at the construction site, one colleague shouted at the media before being restrained by police. There were 500 workers on the site when the accident happened.
Witnesses said they thought the male had a heart attack before he fell.
