On October 26th two fatal accidents occurred just 12 hours apart. One being a young male pedestrian who was struck down by a young driver whilst crossing a country lane, the other being a female riding pillion on a motorbike. Neither of the diseased have been identified.
The first fatal accident took place around 12.45am when a young driver, 19, was driving a Fiat Punto and collided with the male pedestrian, 20, as he crossed a country lane. The young pedestrian was pronounced dead the following day at a General hospital in Sheffield.
Following this, only 12 hours later, a woman riding pillion on a motorbike, 64, driven by 56 year old man, was pronounced dead at the scene where the motorbike had came off the road and catapulted down an embankment into a field.
