A three year old child was left needing stitches and surgery to deep wounds after shattered glass from a car window showered over him.
The child car accident happened when a car had veered on to the wrong side of the road, striking the car carrying the young child. The child was a back seat passenger in the car which when hit with impact, windows shattered and left shattered glass covering the child in the back seat booster seat.
The child sustained cuts and deep lacerations to his head and face. He was immediately rescued from the car via the back window where he was rushed to hospital.
