Drunk at the wheel results in fatal accident to cyclist

A cyclist was cycling for charity when his death resulted in him being struck down by a teenager who was intoxicated with alcohol.

The young female driver was said to be twice over the limit before causing the fatal accident claim.

At court she admitted causing death by dangerous driving and driving a motor vehicle with excess alcohol. It is reported in the national press that the female driver had more than 73 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 mil of breath.

The cyclist was a father of there children and since his death more than £80,000 has been raised in his honour to “mind” the mental health charity.
