Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo wins the Ballon d’Or for the second time in his career. The 28 year old won the prestigious award yesterday in Zurich. Ronaldo has had an impressive 2013 starting 59 games, scoring 69 goals, having 15 assists and scoring 8 hatricks.
When being announced the winner of the Ballon d’Or the former Manchester United star became emotional and said “I have no words to describe this moment. Thanks to all of my team-mates at Real Madrid and the national team. Without all of their efforts this would not have been possible. I am very happy, it is very difficult to win this award”.
