After he fell he was taken to hospital where he was seen by a maxillo facial specialist. There was a dead cut in his lower gum and two milk teeth had to be removed, As his mouth was sore he would not eat solid foods and became drawn. He also suffered bed wetting which was disturbing his sleep. The child should have started nursery though he did not attend for six months until his injuries had completely resolved. He received £2,496 for his child injuries claim against the landlord of the property due to the landlord’s failure to undertake appropriate repairs.
