Summary: A young boy aged two was in nursery at the time of the child accident claim. When he came home his mother noticed a small burn on his arm. She rang the nursery to see what happened as the boy said he did not know. The nursery said they were not aware of the accident. The mother took her child to A&E on the day it happened where the son’s burn was dressed. She also took her son the doctors for a check-up a few weeks later. The wound fully cleared after a few months with no scar. It was later admitted that the child injury was caused by a hot cup of tea.
The child was entitled to £500 for his child injury compensation claim.
