Flights to and from Cardiff Airport delayed after early morning fog

flight delay claim

Flights to Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Dublin and Spain were delayed by several hours from Cardiff Airport due to early morning fog.  Large parts of South Wales were affected by heavy fog and poor visibility on Tuesday 12th April 2016.

Some passengers were bussed to Birmingham after the Cardiff to Newcastle flight was diverted to the Midlands and a Cardiff to Malaga flight was delayed.   Flights from Dublin, Edinburgh, Anglesey and Glasgow that were due to land in Cardiff this morning were also delayed .   The weather also caused difficult driving conditions across South Wales.
