Blackpool has sacked manager Paul Ince after just 11 months in charge of the club. The announcement was made following a poor run of games for the seasiders. Blackpool has lost 9 of their last 10 games and drew the other game. The club have also announced that they have appointment manager Barry Ferguson in temporary charge as a player manager.
A club statement said: “Blackpool Football Club can confirm that manager Paul Ince and assistants Alex Rae and Steve Thompson have had their contracts terminated with immediate effect.
“Barry Ferguson will take charge of training when the players return on Thursday.
“A further announcement will be made in due course.”
