Abstract: A man was operating heavy machinery when he was reversing a bulldozer. The machine slipped and fell down a rock face, falling more then 1.5 metre. The fall resulted in the construction worker suffering from permanent damage to his spine. He said that his employers failed to provide appropriate health and safety risk assessments. The injury to his back affected his ability to work after the accident and a claim for work accident compensation.
