A school boy aged six was playing with his friends on the playground when he fell by someone using a wooden bat and was hit in the face.
He suffered from a cut to his eyebrow, swelling and bruising. The wound was treated in school and sanitised. The child then went to see his GP later that day, the doctor prescribed him painkillers. The young boy was less playful at school and home. He was also experienced disturbed sleep when he turned on the bruise in bed. The child injury was minor and healed within three weeks, though the laceration did cause a small scar that was barely noticeable. Compensation for this childinjury £1500.
