A man of 94 was cycling and was knocked off his bike by a car that pulled out at a junction. The court heard that the driver of the car did look in the direction of the cyclist though the driver failed to see him. What makes the accident more ironic is the cyclist’s Brother had died just 100 yards away from where he was killed. The driver pleaded guilty to death by dangerous driving.

The cyclist was wearing a helmet and high-visibility waistcoat. He suffered a laceration above his eye which was bleeding profusely; the cause of death.
